Immediate Release Availant's outstanding quality of instruction and facilities wins prestigious IBM award. WALTHAM, MA - June 16, 2003 - Availant, a provider of high availability software, services and training, was recently recognized by IBM Global Services as a top achiever in technical education. The Award of Excellence in Quality Achievement is presented to a Training Provider who achieves among the highest customer satisfaction scores for quality instruction and facilities. In a landscape where many businesses are forced to cut corners in order to meet fiscal obligations, Availant maintained customer satisfaction as the top priority. "This award is a particularly great accomplishment," responded Joe Nedder, Availant's President and COO, "given that this evaluation is based on direct feedback from the students themselves. Though education can be measured in many ways, one of the most critical and the most rewarding ways is in the value to and the experience of the student." The Award of Excellence in Quality Achievement is the third nationally recognized honor awarded to Availant by IBM Global Services. In 2000, Availant was granted the IBM Learning Services Award for Year-to-Year growth, and in 1999 Availant captured the IBM Golden Eagle Award, naming them the premiere provider in the United States of technical education for IT professionals.
